In accordance with the Australian Government’s travel restrictions and due to the complex and unpredictable nature of travel currently, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend sales of travel insurance.
Like many, we hopeful that the global response to COVID-19 will see us all travelling again soon. In the meantime, there may be other suitable options if you intend on travelling. You can refer to The Insurance Council of Australia website for a list of providers.
If you hold an existing travel policy with us, your policy remains in place. If you are yet to depart and your travel plans have changed, or you find that your policy does not suit your needs, you can contact our Customer Service team on 1300 034 888 or by email at email@example.com to discuss cancelling your policy for a full refund.
If you still intend to travel, please note your policy contains general exclusions for all claims relating to pandemics as well as if you do not follow the Government’s advice against travel to a particular country. We are still assessing claims as normal and encourage you to submit your claim online. We will assess each claim on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with the terms of the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). Before submitting a claim, we encourage you to first seek refunds from your travel and accommodation providers. This will expedite our consideration.
